I simply stayed in Brussels this weekend, something I can not do often but, each time it is possible, I enjoy it endlessly. Difficult to explain why I enjoy it so much. One of the reason is that Brussels is “empty” on a long weekend (May 1), everyone is gone, Brussels feels like a sleeping little country town in the sixties. To walk around, have a good espresso, buy a Sunday newspaper, watch the sky, listen to the birds, work for few hours in the office, get finally things done because no one is calling … simply a lovely day!
