Snow!
The first official working day in Brussels! And it started good for me. Firstly, when I woke up this morning and went to my little kitchen to prepare my morning tea, looking out of my window to check, if finally my neighbours returned to Brussels (during holidays everyone is gone), I saw snow. Real snow. Not just a little bit but actually a lot.
That’s fun in Brussels because everything slows down. Most cars are still (and always) equipped with summer tiles and snow in general is not something which is embedded well in the brusseloise mindset. Secondly, on my way to my office. Walking of course. And after enjoying a coffee at “my” little “Italian Snack” (Rue Florence, 20), I see that the African Gallery was already opened, preparing a new exhibition. I went in and bought a little painting from an Hawaiian painter.
